The Tinies program at The Dancer’s EDGE is designed to provide a truly exceptional introduction to dance for young students. Thoughtfully structured and developmentally appropriate, each class builds a strong foundation in fundamental dance skills while nurturing creativity, confidence, and a love for movement.

Imaginative games, props, and age-appropriate music help bring the curriculum to life, while dancers develop coordination, focus, and essential classroom skills.

Beginning in Tinies 1, students learn a choreographed routine to be performed in our Annual Recital. For many families, the recital is a cherished milestone—an exciting opportunity for young dancers to shine on stage, complete with costumes and the joy of performance.

Let’s get started! Find the perfect class schedule for your Tiny dancer.

Class Descriptions

Teeny Tinies

(Ages 18 Months - 2.5 Years)

If you have a young dancer who’s already movin’ and shakin’ but not quite ready for our Tinies 1 class, Teeny Tinies is the perfect introduction! This class builds rhythm, encourages creative movement, and helps little ones feel comfortable in a classroom setting.

This 30-minute class is designed as a Parent & Me experience, allowing caregivers to participate and support their dancer every step of the way.

Registration: Registration is open year-round, pending availability. If the class is full, you’re welcome to join the waitlist to be notified when a spot opens. Please note that Teeny Tinies dancers do not perform in our Annual Recital.

Teeny Tinies Attire: Dancers and parents should wear comfortable clothing that’s easy to move in. Some families choose to dress their dancer in a leotard for fun, but it’s not required. No special shoes are needed—students may go barefoot or wear light socks.
